We have two dogs, a fish, and a snake. The thing is, The snake is my SISTERS and she currently lives in COLORADO without bringing it. I don’t want it, and neither does my mom! I’d much rather have a bird. The only thing my mom doesn’t like about it is that it squawks, but I know that with training it will stop. What should I say? (I want an english budgie just so you know)

it is hard to train your bird to stop quaking because quaking means they are happy/bored so maybe english budgie is not good for you… try to buy finches (i have society finches and till now… i never hear them quak but i heard the male sing… so maybe finches are good for you.) try to tell your mom what is an advantages of budgies or birds that you want, but not the DISADVANTAGES.
This is what i do. my mom will say something and everytime she says something i will say “thats because you didnt buy me a bird yet”
Ask your mom she likes a bird in her house.
