What Dog Breeds Are Usually Entered Into Weight Pulling Competitions?
From the competitions I’ve seen videos of, I usually see American Bulldogs and some APBT. What other breeds usually enter into weight pulling competitions?
I also noticed that most of the dogs entered into the weight pulling competitions are working dogs or are said to be working dogs. Which leads me to my next question-what type of work do they do? What does the weight pulling training do to help them with their work?
“bonding” Exercises ? ……………………….?
anyone know any little games i can play with my lease horse ?
i don’t always have acces to a round pen, so i play around with her in the indoor. the other day i groomed her for about half an hour, then brought her into the indoor. i did a bit of training with her, backup, walk, turn on the haunches ect.. then i took off her halter and ran around with her. shes great! she hadn’t been out in awhile, so i let her run around bucking, and having fun for a bit. i kept her running for awhile then i thought id try a join up. i went and stood in the middle of the arena and after a few more laps she trotted over to me. (i know how to do a proper join up, but that wasnt my intention to begin with so i just let it go) i ran around with her for a bit longer, her following me over jumps and around pylons. it was really fun, but i didn’t really know what i was doing. i just went in and played with her. anyone know any specific exercises i can do with her? instead of just running around? thanks!
My Dog’s Obsession With Food! It’s All He Thinks About, Really?
When he wakes up, he goes to our kitchen and sits there, motionless. When we eat, he ignores his food and stares at us, occasionally jumping up and looking at our table until we say ‘off’ and he goes down. While training, his eyes will fix on our hand, drooling…
When we sit down, all he wants is food, when we go out, all he wants is food and chew toys. No more interests in toys anymore… We need to stop his obsession before it is too late, before he gets too fat! He has fod, we feed him the amount our vet recommends! What can we do? He just won’t be distracted. D:
Englisch – Deutsch Uebersetzung Hilfe! (formal German)?
How could I write:
“I enjoy music, and I play the guitar. I am also a classically trained vocalist in Indian Music. Throughout high school and university, I have participated in choir, musical ensembles and solo performances, one performance took place in the United Nations, where I was exposed to international arts and musical programs as well.
Another passion of mine is traveling. I have visited Australia, China, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, and the United States. Traveling is not only adventurous, but also a great tool in obtaining a broad world perspective. It also helps in relating with people of different cultures, as well as increasing my knowledge of current events, dealing with globalization.”
sorry if it’s a bit too long, aber vielen Dank!

My Small Dog Is Driving Me Insane, Need Advice?
I recently rescued a two-year old female chihuahua/pomeranian mix dog from a shelter. At first, she kept to herself, was not hyper, and SUPPOSEDLY crate trained. It’s been hell.
-She managed through some secret Chihuahua strength to bust through the crate I got her, and destroyed my house and pissed/s*** everywhere while I was at work. I took her outside to use the bathroom BEFORE I left, and all she wanted to do was play and watch cars. The moment she is back in the house, she sh**s everywhere.
-She is SUPER needy and needs to follow me around the house every moment of the day and will even scratch at the door and cry if I’m trying to do simple things like cook or use the bathroom. She needs attention 24/7 and barks at me if I walk away from her.
-I believe her previous owners gave her human food, because she shys away from dog food (and I bought the expensive stuff) and nearly slams her forehead into the bottom of my bowl of spaghetti in a frantic hunger trying to eat my pasta. She has already eaten my spaghetti, wonton soup, black beans and thought my used tampon was a chew toy (she dug it out of the trash in the bathroom after I had to start putting her in there while I’m at work since the crate does not contain her.)
-I was advised to let her “do whatever she wants” for the first few weeks and not punish her until she gets used to being at my house. I am about to punt her like a football off my balcony, I’m at my wits end.
Any advice on this would be appreciated. Do not comment if you do not own/have never owned any dogs. I need EXPERIENCED advice. Thank you.

“The Heart Base,
which is strong and proud,
fears nothing,
not even a cold shroud.
It’s white soldiers protect its red roads,
and fight to the death,
if told.
They were bold and brave,
better than Navy Seals if trained.
But not even they could fight off this attack,
so it fills their territory,
never to turn back.
They fight and rebel,
but the sickness still fills them.
Soon captured by true love,
to forever be a victim.”
So, please rate and comment on it.
Is This Enough To Lose Weight?
Hey there,
I’m fifteen years old and 8 and a half stone. I know you may think I’m being silly about wanting to lose weight, because I am a healthy weight, but I just want to lose a bit of fat so that my abs will show through, as I have solid muscle on my stomach where I work out everyday. I have no choice over what meals I eat at home, but if I have say pizza and chips for example, I’d chuck out the pizza and just have the chips for at least something to eat. Anyway, if I eat a cereal or oatmeal in the morning, a muesli bar or yoghurt for my mid break at school, a hot cross bun for lunch and a dinner high in carbs maybe but low in fat and salt, will I lose weight by walking for 2 hours everyday, doing loads of squats and lunges, dancing and strength training? I mainly want to lose fat on my belly and thighs by the way. Many thanks:)
Can You Help With Dog Training Problems?
We keep having problems with our Lab first we couldnt keep him in the back yard, now we have solved that problem.
He then started digging holes in the grass, problem solved.
Now he has taken to chewing anything left outside and pulling washing off the line! He does all this while we are out and cant see him doing it so cannot discipline him right away for it.
We were walking him daily for about 4km (40mins) with a bit of running off the lead in the middle each time and then we were told not to make this his only form of entertainment to get him content with being in his own back yard so dropped it back to every second day with spending time playing and teaching him on the day in between.
I make him toys with food in, those so called boredom busters and many many other things to try and stop the boredom but nothing seems to work.
I am extremely frustrated and find myself smacking him out of frustration. I know I shouldnt do that so please dont lecture me about it, I just dont know what else to do.
I have tried looking online for discipline techniques but all it says is what not to do!
I need some help.
This cant go on, today he ripped up some of my pants off the line where before he just pulled them off – its escalating! I cant afford a trainer I just spent alot of money getting him neutered and wont spend more.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Should I Write A Strong Letter Of Formal Complaint To The School?
my son is fully potty trained and returned home from shcool soaking wet with a heavy rash on belly and below. It had appeared he had been sitting in this accident for a lengthly period of time. I am trying to write a letter towards the school, should i rephrase it more strongly as i consider it a form of negleculance from the teachers and nursery assistants whom manage the class.
P.s i have check spelling and it says it fine.
Should I Just Drop It And Forget About It?
I have this coach who I’m sort of friends with. We met a few years ago but it’s only this past year and a half that I’ve been taking individual lessons under him. We’re one year apart. I’m pretty open with him and he seems to reciprocate the openness.
I enjoy his lessons and I have so much fun talking to this guy. He’s the funniest and the best. We exchanged personal e-mail addresses about half a year ago because he was training me for something else at the time and we needed it to communicate for about a month. We haven’t e-mailed since except to say Merry Christmas and etc. but that’s about it (I’m still taking his swim lessons) But I e-mailed him the other day because I noticed that he looked really down and I felt bad ignoring it and he seemed pleased that I wrote and he wrote back and etc.
We’ve been out to eat before but that’s only because he wanted to congratulate me for completing a race and I just happened to be the only person that wanted to give it a shot.
Anyway he’s leaving soon meaning he’s transferring out soon and I’ve been feeling really down. It’s not like he’s going to transfer far away but it’ll just be more costly for me to go there and I’m not sure I want to do that.
I’d like to still keep in touch but I’m not sure how he feels about that since I’m only a student. Should I forget about it? What would you do?
