SO im 15 and want to get a dog. My parents are only allowing me to get a small dog. I go to school so it will have to be able to be left alone for 7-8 hours a day, and i want it to be obedient and easy to train.

Why not rescue a small dog from the shelter?
Some small breeds that are easy to train & care for:
-Beagle
-Miniature Pinscher
-Chihuahua
-Pug
-Toy Fox Terrier
-Italian Greyhound
Try to stay away from dogs that require haircuts (yorkie, shih tzu, maltese, poodle) While these breeds may be ‘adorable’ they require quite a bit of upkeep, therefore, cost you more money in the long run!
No dog, large or small should be left alone 7-8 hours a day. They become bored and destructive. Small obedient dogs are not an easy ask so try maybe a Shetland Sheepdog or a poodle, both intelligent but both need a lot of training time and love.

Get a German shepherd. You won’t ever regret it, if you raise it and etc. Its gonna be your best friend
