I desperately want a big dog, and when I say big I mean BIG ! I’m a small person and I want a big dog that will cuddle with me at night or play with me during the day. A dog who is friendly and easy to train ( at a dog school, some dogs are hard headed ) preferably a guy since I don’t like girl dogs as much for some reason :s I sneeze a lot with dog hair so a dog that doesn’t shed much so with either very short hair or long hair, the almost human kind that doesn’t fall out much. Please give your suggestions and any kind of extra information you have on whatever dog. Thank you (:
Ps. I don’t like those dogs that have super long hair. When I say long I meant medium length like st Bernard.

Great Dane but they are huge!!!!!! the most cuddly are Golden Retrievers, I used to lie all over mine and she would love it and they are very playful.
Liking to cuddle has nothing to do with breed. If you’re picking out a dog, check out its temperement before you buy it or adopt it. Go and see it and pay attention to how it reacts to you. When you take it home, its essential to make your dog comfortable and give it the support it needs from a strong pack leader. The more secure your dog feels and the more it knows it’s position in the pack, the more likely it will be to cuddle with you.
I would say a Neapolitan Mastiff. They are pricey and hard to find but they are gentle giants weighing close to 200 lbs
A pitbull will cuddle with you u don’t go to the pitbull let the pitbull come to you first so it can learn to trust you then you can have a relationship with the dog in the fact of trusting one another

Both of these dogs are very low shedding, very large (100+lbs), but they are not good for allergy sufferers.
I would say a pit bull! I have one and he is massive all muscle! Loves to cuddle and lay with me!
Pit bulls are naturaly very affectionate to their owners!

My Black Lab will, when allowed, climb into the EZ Chair with me and lay across my body. But he overheats and starts to stress out if he stays too long. He doesn’t much like anything over 68*F.

Every dog loves cuddling. Especially if you get them when they’re a puppy and sleep with them every night (they get use to it, that’s why)
Just go to a shelter and check out dogs there. Or take a look at petfinder.com. My friend has a Beagle, she likes to cuddle, only problem with her is that she’s a barker like most Beagles. I have the sweetest Labrador, he cuddles with me when he’s inside but usually prefers sleeping outside when the weather is hot. Another friend of mine has a German Shephard-something mix, a big dog, and he loves cuddling as well.
